EuCAP History and Past Editions
The first European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP) was organised in 2006, in Nice, France, by the European Network of Excellence ACE, under the EU’s 6th Framework Programme (FP6), being co-sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA).
In the spirit of the Millennium Conference on Antennas and Propagation AP2000, held in Davos, Switzerland, EuCAP 2006 regrouped the former JINA and ICAP conferences, two ESA Workshops on Satellite Antennas and Propagation and the final Workshop of the EC COST Action 284 on Antennas. Since then, EuCAP has been organised by the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), created by the Network of Excellence ACE.
As a further step in the EurAAP efforts to structure and coordinate Antenna and Propagation research in Europe, EuCAP has provided a forum for the European R&D communities in the Antennas and Propagation field, at both academic and industrial levels.
Since the first editions, EuCAP has hosted an AMTA EUROPE event. AMTA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EurAAP, and actively supports EuCAP through the organisation of special sessions and technical tours. Please click here for information about AMTA's structure and membership.
